Oily Intentions: Women's Circle

A women's circle is a safe space for women to gather and be open to sharing our own experiences (what is rising and falling within us) and it's a beautiful time to come together when we are creating. 

Often our creative energy is suppressed due to a 'busy' lifestyle, we can be so rushed in our day to day world, that we forget about how creative we really can be when we are rested.

So, to bring you into your creativity I will first guide you through a meditation to ground your energy, I will play a couple of singing bowls to assist with this too.  I will show you how to move from a 'rushed' state of being into a gentle and 'soft' state of being.  We will choose an oracle card to see if there are any messages we need to hear at this time. 

Then we will briefly share any experience we remember with being 'creative', anything you want to share, it can be from child-hood if you like.  After this I will guide you into setting your own intentions, what an intention is, why we use intentions etc.  You will set your intention into your bottle of oil and sit with this intention while you get creative. 

You may like to make this bottle for yourself, or for someone you love and share it as a gift, the choice is yours!  Hand-made gifts I personally believe are the BEST.  It will be a glass 50ml dropper bottle.

To finish, we will allow our intentions to be completely infused within our bottle of oil, then we will discuss how to apply your body oil at home using powerful affirmations for self-love and body-love.  Whether you love your body or not, this is the most beautiful experiene you can give to yourself to learn how to love your body just as it is in this moment.

There will be a few little vegan treats and herbal tea options through the night. 

I feel this will be a really rewarding event for many women, to bring connection back into your body, love back into your heart and open-ness back into your rest time and creativity.

The location of this event is within a private residential home in Redland Bay and the address will be emailed to you upon your booking confirmation.

- Blanket to stay warm

- Small/Firm Pillow for sitting on

- Water bottle

ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR:

Melinda is a Redland Bay based, certified yoga instructor with specialised training in restorative and feminine yoga, which are designed to balance the nervous system and work with the natural feminine cycle.  Melinda is a natural energy healer, reiki practitioner, sound healer and mentor, also trained in Champissage (Indian head massage).  She loves to write and is currently creating a short book..  Melinda has regularly facilitated sound healing events, women's circles and restorative yoga retreats.  She believes there is no one way of doing things, so she draws upon her creativity, intuition and past experiences in kundalini dance, movement therapies and self healing to take you on a journey of transformation and growth.  Melinda has the ability to hold space for you through the flow of emotions in a kind, gentle and loving approach.  She is always exploring her conscious self as a mother, partner, teacher and student in life and health.  Melinda believes in cultivating healing and balance through the conscious ability to slow down.  It is her passion to guide women and children to strengthen and trust their own inner knowing.  She offers private sessions and weekly group classes, see www.melindajayneyoga.com.au for more of her offerings.
