About the Event

Pregnancy Yoga - Fortnightly Classes  

For expectant mothers in their Second, Third & Fourth Trimester. Please read the information below if you are in your First Trimester.  Each Saturday fortnight we offer an absolutely nourishing pregnancy yoga class. This is a 1.5 hour class filled with many practices to assist you through both your pregnancy and your birth.  

THE BENEFITS: 

The many benefits of pregnancy yoga include the following: - Calms the nervous system, when you are relaxed your baby is relaxed - A more comfortable pregnancy - Strengthening your core and pelvic floor - Better and longer sleep - Shorter and less painful labour, preparing your body for labour - Creating a stronger bond between yourself and baby - Supportive community to help with your emotional wellbeing - And So Much More!  

CONTRAINDICATIONS: 

First Trimester expectant mothers who have not been doing yoga prior to becoming pregnant will be unable to attend these classes for safety reasons. Once you reach your second trimester, you are welcome to attend. Please email us with any questions about this. It is important to listen to your body at any trimester you are in. If you are feeling nauseous and tired, then rest at home and wait until this phase has passed before attending, be kind to yourself while your body moves through these changes.  

WHAT WE WILL OFFER YOU: 

Each class will offer you a mixture of the following practices to support your journey: - Reiki Healing - Stretching to support your body during pregnancy - Strengthening practices to prepare your body for labour - Share Circle to connect with other expectant mothers - Yoga Nidra - Sound Healing - Oracle Cards & Journalling - Take Home Exercises to Practice - Visualisations to connect and create a bond with baby - Meditation  

MUMS & BUBS CLASSES: 

We offer this in our studio for mums with babies 12 weeks to 6 months. See our class information under Yoga Classes/Bookings.

YOGA PRICING PACKAGES: 

Individual classes are $35 or we have a 3 class package for $100 and a 6 class package for $195. These can be transferred and also used in our Mum's n Bub's yoga classes - so if you don't get to use them all up while you are pregnant you can come back and use them after baby is born.  

FIRST CLASS: 

Please arrive 15 minutes early to your first class as we require you to complete a form prior to class attendance. Bring with you a water bottle and anything you feel you would like to ensure you are comfortable.
