Before Completing a Request Form to Hire our Studio,
Please Read the Below Terms & Conditions First
Terms & Conditions of Hire
All facilitators must present their certificate of currency to show there is Public Liability Insurance. Should anything arise during the time you are hiring our studio which requires a Public Liability Insurance claim, you will be liable and the claim will be made through your own insurance policy. Yoga at The Lounge will not be responsible for any claims made during the time-frame that the studio is being hired by a third party.
Hire Fee's are charged at the time you enter the studio, to the time you leave the studio.
Studio hire includes the use of all yoga props within the studio, electricity, ducted air-conditioning/heating system, the use of our bathroom facilities.
Advertising & Marketing is available to connect with our community, however it is not an obligation, please read our Advertising & Marketing information below to decide if this is right for you or not.
Non-Refundable deposits are payable to secure your date/times required and final payments are due 14 days prior to the event start date of which are also non-refundable should you cancel your event within this period. All information relating to rates of hire and booking fees are below.
Rates of Hire and Booking Fees
Hourly rate to hire our studio is charged at $40 + GST.
2 hours minimum studio hire is required.
A non-refundable deposit fee ($40 + GST) will be applied to secure your booking date and time.
We reserve the right to hire our studio to any other party seeking this same date and time, until a deposit is received by you.
The remaining final payment will be due and payable 7 days prior to the event start date.
If final payment is not paid 7 days prior to your event start date we reserve the right to forfeit the booking and hire the studio to someone else wanting the same date and time.
For regular events (weekly, fortnightly, monthly), your payments will be payable on a month-to-month basis, paid 7 days in advance, in full.
CANCELLATIONS OF EVENTS
If you cancel your event, you will NOT be refunded your deposit of ($40 + GST).
If you cancel your event before the 7 days of your event start date and you have made your final payment, you WILL be refunded your final payment.
Use our Studio Free - Sponsorship
Community Sponsorship – Free Use of Our Studio
At Yoga @ The Lounge, we believe in giving back and supporting initiatives that uplift our community. That’s why we offer sponsorship opportunities for groups, charities, and individuals who align with the values and intentions of our space.
You may qualify for sponsorship if you are:

Hosting a free or low-cost community event.

Raising funds for a registered charity or cause.

A new small business in the healing or wellness space who would like to partner with us on a joint event, aligned with our community values and offerings.
What Sponsorship Includes
If approved, you will receive free or discounted use of our studio. In return, we ask that you promote our studio as part of your event marketing—this includes including our logo and information on your brochures, flyers, social media, website, or any other promotional materials.
How to Apply
To apply for sponsorship, simply email us with details of your event, your goals, and how it supports the community. We’ll be in touch directly to discuss next steps.
Advertising & Marketing
An advertisement of your event will be published on our website under the "Events" tab. This will include a link to your own registration/tickets page. This is an optional extra, for anyone hiring our space.
ADVERTISING & MARKETING FEE
$60 + GST per event, per year.
OR
$60 + GST yearly fee, should you hire our space regularly (weekly, fortnightly, monthly). However, if your advertisement on our website needs changing at anytime, we charge $40 + GST for each change after the initial advertisement has been approved and published.
We will not advertise your event until payment has been received.
THE BENEFITS YOU WILL RECEIVE FROM TAKING UP THIS OPPORTUNITY ARE:
BEING ON OUR WEBSITE
Being seen by our large community of members who attend our yoga classes each week who are on our website weekly booking into their yoga classes.
NEWSLETTERS
There is no guarantee your event will be published in our monthly newsletter, it is an additional benefit which you may receive if timing works in well with your event date. If timing of your event works out well with the timing of our newsletter being published, you will receive one complimentary advertisement of your event which includes photo/name/date/time of your event in a list format with the link at bottom to our website event page. This is emailed out to our subscribers.
SOCIAL MEDIA
When you tag @yogaatthelounge on your Insta stories, we will share these to our stories and include our events page link.
REGULAR EVENTS
If you are approved for a regular event within our studio (weekly, fortnightly, monthly), the advertising & marketing fee will be charged as a yearly fee if you wish to remain on our website and receive the benefits which come along with this.
IN-HOUSE COMMUNICATION
Our yoga teachers regularly talk to our community about our events coming up which are advertised on our website. Being on our website gives you the opportunity for our teachers to talk about your event to our community of people attending our yoga classes regularly.
NOTE: Yoga @ The Lounge reserves the right to change and update these terms & conditions of hire and of advertising/marketing, therefore it is your responsibility to regularly check this link to ensure you are updated with the current information.
